Texas Del Sol’s Mission is to reshape new developments and augment existing developments to develop sustainable communities that are eco-friendly and less reliant on the expensive and inefficient systems that exist today.
Challenges
Whether temporary or permanent, some disruption to our grids is inevitable and the idea of being 12 meals from anarchy is real.
- The Power Grid (attacks, etc.)
- Reliable Fresh – Water (Already an issue in certain communities like Flint Michigan, Chlorine and Floride in our water)
- Food Distribution (Gas Shortages, Sustainability, etc)
Opportunity
The opportunity to reshape communities and developments is actually quite simple. Digital Transformation and the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic have shown the need for geo-dispersity and less reliance on massive urban areas for quality of life. Many white-collar jobs are now able to be done completely remotely allowing new communities to be developed that embrace a sustainable community concept.
5 Requirements for
Solar Powered Communities
- Each home in new development should be powered by efficient and latest generation solar panels to provide electricity to the home.
- Additionally, each home will be equipped with Solar Batteries like the Tesla Powerwall to sustain the homes for a period of time when Solar Panels are less efficient or inactive.
- The Development will have an HOA like system that has a backup set of energy storage that can first and foremost support the community for a period of time if home batteries are depleted or Solar efficiency is temporarily lost
- The Communities will also alot a percentage of land for efficient solar arrays to collect energy
- Excess energy created will be distributed back to the established power grid where allowed.
